Wind Turbines

Our range of small-scale wind turbines comes from leading US-manufacturer - XZERES Wind based in Wilsonville, Oregon.  XZERES is an arcronym for X-ccelerated, Z-ero, E-missions, R-enewable, E-nergy, S-ciences.

XZERES Wind designs, develops, manufactures and markets distributed generation, wind power systems for the small wind (2.5kW-100kW) market. Their grid connected and off grid wind turbine systems, which consist of our 2.5kW and 10 kW devices and related equipment, are utilized for electrical power generation for applications and markets such as residential, micro-grid based rural electrification, agricultural, small business, rural electric utility systems, as well as other private, corporate infrastructure and government applications. The wind power systems are focused on distributed energy, where a specific machine's energy output is largely or entirely used on-site where the equipment is installed, as well as grid connected applications. While many of our XZERES's customers take advantage of their local net-metering rules within the United States and Feed In Tariffs that are often available in Europe and Internationally (to sell power back to the grid), their wind power systems are not dependent on transmission needs to carry the energy produced to another location.

The product portfolio includes 2.5 kW and 10 kW rated power systems, with additional larger systems in development. Each system is comprised of a wind turbine, power electronics, towers, and auxiliary components providing a complete solution. The product attributes include high efficiency design with fewer moving parts providing reduced service & maintenance cost; easy installation with superior performance across a wide variety of conditions and capturing maximum benefits in low wind speed environments as well. Additionally, these reliable systems have a proven track of record with numerous systems deployed in North America; 10 year manufacturer's warranty, and a durable wind turbine system exceeding 20 year life. XZERES leads the market in lowest cost of ownership compared to similar products.

XZERES 110HV Wind Turbine

The XZERES 110 is a versatile turbine that can be used in a wide range of applications. This machine can generate remote energy for telecommunication sites, on and off-grid living, island power, and for critical uninterrupted power systems. It can also be used to provide low cost, reliable electricity to businesses, residents, churches, and schools to name just a few.

This machine gets its name from its large swept area relative to its capacity rating which, in combination with high performance blades, enables it to generate more energy in lower wind speed at low RPMs. This design reduces maintenance requirements, and provides for quiet operation.

XZERES 442SR Wind Turbine

The XZERES 442SR small wind turbine has the most efficient rotor design tested by a third party in the small wind industry today. Its performance has been tested and validated by the National Renewable Energy Laboratory and can produce up to 40% more energy than its competitors of the same rating in some wind resources..

The XZERES 442SR is designed to generate low cost energy through efficiency, reliability, and longevity. Its simple design limits moving parts to reduce service and maintenance costs, as well as allow for easy installation.

This wind generator gets its name from its large swept area of 442 sq ft. Name plate capacity of a wind turbine tells one very little of its efficiency or energy production potential, whereas swept area is directly related to energy production. By focusing on performance and reliability, our wind energy systems produce the lowest lifetime cost of energy, which yields the best return on your investment.

Turbine Towers

XZERES Wind can provide a wide range of tower designs and sizes to suit the needs of every wind turbine site. From unique configurations and accessories, to large volume orders, XZERES Wind has the engineering team and experience to provide the best solution for your application.

All towers provided by XZERES Wind come with a standard five-year warranty. Safety climb systems and fall arrestors are also included with every climbable tower we sell. XZERES Wind can also provide grounding kits, working platforms, stub tower extensions, and other customizations as requested.

Monopole towers are often the first choice for most clients usually for their aesthetic value, small footprint, and ease of installation. XZERES Wind also provides monopole towers with a mechanical tilt-up design as an additional option.

XZERES Wind can help you with your entire tower and foundation engineeing needs. XZERES Wind is committed to every sale, from the time of your initial inquiry to technical support, years after your installation. We have a dedicated team to provide you with customer service and support in design, logistics, and project management. Because there are numerous variations in tower options, systems design, and engineering requirements we encourage you to contact us directly so that we can provide you with the lowest cost, highest quality solution for your towers and foundations.

Self-supporting lattice towers (SSL) are tapered, three-legged structures. These towers have a much smaller footprint compared to guyed towers, which will vary depending on tower height and size of turbine. XZERES Wind can design service cranes that can be mounted on the tower, complete with a winch can be used to raise and lower the turbine on and off the tower without the need for a crane.

Motorized Tilt-up Towers have all the aesthetic of a Monopole plus the convenience of raising and lowering when needed. Motorized Tilt-up Towers self-raising system uses a small motor to raise and lower the tower, the tower can also be operated with a hand crank. Perfect for coastal or severe weather locations. Available in 45' and 60' heights.
