We have an evolving range of software products that we are able to offer to the markets here in Australia and New Zealand, starting with our spare parts cataloguing software product from Italian specialist software developer - Components Engine with a small but growing number of users in Australia. In the future we are looking at adding some exciting new products to our range including an affordable, yet powerful and fully featured CAD/CAM package as well as some 3D photo modelling software to cater for the growing interest in Australia for 3D modelling, 3D printing and rapid or digital manufacture. 3D Photo-Modeller

Another area for future growth and strong consumer interest is in the area of the development of 3D modelling techniques using the latest generation of smart phones and affordable, yet powerful 3D software packages that allow users to develop a 3D point cloud and ultimately a fully water-tight 3D mesh file ready to send to a 3D printer or to a CAM program for DNC manufacture. This is the future.

In this environment end-users can make one-off or bespoke designs and have them printed and manufactured by a growing array of digital printing houses in order to express their creativity and to promote the concept of "one-off" manufacture and on-demand manufacture to minimise storage, wast and over-production.

This growing trend will no doubt develop further and at DWE Systems we would like to be a the forefront of these developments and bring the latest ideas and potential uses of the technology to our customers and the general manufacturing community.

Components Engine is a software solution entirely developed by Components Engine S.r.l, a software house specializing in the development and design of products and services for post-sales management since 1999.

Components Engine is a software designed for managing and creating interactive spare parts catalogues, and since 2001 has been offered as a finished project. Components Engine contains essential, as well as advanced, features necessary for the creation and management of spare parts catalogues. In addition, its in-house development team is available to analyze and develop custom features to meet any and all customer needs.

In 2010, Components Engine was in use by approximately 300 client companies worldwide. Components Engine is sold directly by the software house, and, especially outside of the Italian market, by authorized resellers such as DWE Systems.
